Further to the update to dog breeding licence regulations in England, will the Minister confirm when a review of The Animal Welfare (Breeding of Dogs) (Wales) Regulations 2014 will take place?

The consultation on third party sales of puppies and kittens, and wider dog breeding issues, closed on 17 May. Officials are analysing responses to determine the intervention required and this is likely to include a review of the current Regulations. I will be issuing a statement on this issue imminently.
