Following the findings that teachers have been sourcing materials for schools from charity shops and car boot sales, will the Minister provide an emergency fund to support schools?

Local Authorities have a duty to ensure that suitable educational provision is made available to all children; this is set out in law. This includes materials and equipment and transport provided in school hours.
You will be aware the CYPE Committee published on the 10th July their report following their inquiry into school funding. I am grateful for the committee’s work in producing this report and will respond in due course.
