Will the Minister state how the 50 pharmacists will be selected for minor ailment training, and explain whether this can be made available for pharmacists across Wales?

I was pleased to announce on 23 May a £100,000 package to fund specialist clinical skills training for 50 pharmacists to manage minor ailments, delivered by Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW).
HEIW is working with all health boards and other interested parties to identify areas where acute minor illness services will be offered, and therefore where training places will be made available.
Whilst the exact selection criteria have yet to be finalised, pharmacists from across Wales will be able to apply.
