What support is the Welsh Government providing to help convenience stores diversify and continue to invest in their businesses?

We have named retail as one of our Foundation Sectors and are working across Government and with stakeholders to develop enabling plans for the sector. This work is linked into activity that we are already taking forward across Government to regenerate our high-streets to help them become more diverse and so that the balance is right between office space, residential space and retail on our high streets. Greater diversity will drive footfall. Our Business Wales service can and does support retailers with advice and guidance on a wide range of subjects including access to finance.
