What plans are in place for the development and expansion of the economic contract in 2019?

The Economic Action Plan includes a commitment to extending the coverage of the Economic Contract over time, and we are currently exploring options for expanding the application of the Economic Contract to a wider range of settings, including sponsored and delivery bodies. As part of this work we are considering opportunities to build the requirements of the Economic Contract into the support provided by Business Wales and the Development Bank of Wales. I expect to receive further advice on this from my officials early in 2019.
