What is the Welsh Government's position on the Service Animals (Offences) Bill that is currently before the UK Parliament?

I am supportive of any proportionate measure that protects the welfare of service animals whilst in the line of duty. Should the Bill be successful in its passage, it could apply to Wales as well as England; Welsh Government officials are liaising with counterparts in Defra during the Bill’s passage.
