How much will each individual local authority receive of the £15 million of capital funding made available to further improve recycling collection systems and infrastructure, and explain on what exactly the money can be spent?
The additional £15 million capital funding over three years will be administered through the Waste and Resource Efficiency Division’s Collaborative Change Programme (CCP) and Infrastructure Team. The money will be allocated on a discretionary basis to support major service changes to Local Authority recycling, the provision of additional infrastructure to help Local Authorities recycle a wider range of materials and, where appropriate, to procure material and equipment used in supporting an all Wales Behaviour Change Campaign.
