Following the National Assembly resolution on 14 February 2018 to establish a taskforce to look into the issue of unadopted roads in Wales, will the Cabinet Secretary provide details of membership, chairperson, lead secretariat/ contact, terms of reference, reporting timescales, date of first meeting and plans for public consultation?
Discussions between officials and officers from the Welsh Local Government Association and Home Builders Federation are ongoing. Draft Terms of Reference is being developed as well as the governance arrangement for the review. These will be finalised at the Taskforce’s inaugural meeting. I am expecting advice on the resource requirements to support the review which is anticipated to commence in late May and completed in early 2019.
