What assessment has the Welsh Government made of the impact on Wales of a recent court ruling that landlords who state that they will not rent to people claiming benefits may be breaking equality legislation?

Although this case did not set a legal precedent, it is nevertheless an indicator that “no DSS” adverts may indeed be breaking Equality law. I will be keeping a close eye on proceedings should a case be taken forward in a court of criminal law. I want to see an end to discriminatory adverts, and this is certainly a positive step towards that goal.
