Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm how many documents currently reside on the Hwb+ platform, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote documents created by teachers, other school staff and learners?
As of February 2018, the Hwb+ learning platform recorded a total of 620,360 files. This figure includes 158,743 files which are used for the Hwb+ public facing Web sites. It should be noted that a number of these files will relate to the system and are not user files. We do not currently have a granular breakdown between system and user files.
The total number of files stored on the Welsh Government’s Hwb Office 365 environment which includes OneNote and OneDrive is currently 6.9M. For clarity, this platform is separate to the Hwb+ platform.
