What are the implications of a UK Agriculture Bill for Wales - will there be a need for separate and/or additional Welsh legislation to ensure that future Welsh land-use policy can be set within the devolved context and, if so, what would the Welsh Government’s proposed additional legislation enable?

Powers to determine future agriculture and land management support will be returning to Wales when the UK leaves the European Union. My officials will be evaluating what we need for Wales and the Welsh Government will legislate as necessary to ensure we make the most from these powers.
