When will the Information for People Programme next convene?
The responsibility for quality information is one which is shared across Welsh Government, NHS Wales, Local Government and our third-sector partners.
“Information for People” was a short term Working Group to enable policy colleagues and key stakeholders to engage on ways to improve supply and distribution of health and care information, there are no plans for it to reconvene. The group was helpful in shaping current and future work on information provision both online and through more traditional formats to ensure it is accessible to a wide variety of users.
Further work is being taken forward in the “Information for You” workstream in the Informed Health and Care strategy delivery programme. This includes development of an online platform and an integrated Directory of Services for health, social services and the third sector to help people find the information advice and assistance about the right care, from the right service, organisation or person, at a time that is convenient for them.
