What consideration has the Cabinet Secretary given to piloting electoral registration with student enrolment in universities?

Over the summer the Welsh Government consulted on a series of proposals for electoral reform which included changes to electoral registration such as automatic registration and targeted registration campaigns. The responses to this consultation are currently being considered and I intend to make a statement in response to the consultation in February 2018.
Prior to the elections to the National Assembly in 2016, the Welsh Government supported the efforts of NUS Wales to encourage students to register and vote.
