Will the Minister clarify how the expanded Pupil Deprivation Grant will be funded?

I remain committed to improving outcomes for disadvantaged learners. Support through the Pupil Deprivation Grant (PDG) remains central to this objective. I have asked officials to develop options for the future shape of the PDG with a view to ensuring we get the greatest impact from our investment. I will consider these in due course alongside a refreshed ‘Rewriting the future’. Funding decisions, including those relating to the £100m additional funding, will be considered in the round and further information provided in due course.
