What representations has the Minister made to his Westminster counterparts regarding the impact of Brexit on matters within the Economy and Infrastructure portfolio?
Extensive work is underway across the Welsh Government to ensure we maximise our influence in discussions within the UK, and in turn in formal EU negotiations, to secure the best possible outcome for Wales. We are working closely with the UK Government and other devolved governments to ensure the interests of Wales are heard and protected. Officials are in contact with counterparts in Whitehall as well as Scotland and Northern Ireland, in particular in relation to setting up the formal arrangements for negotiations between the devolved governments and the UK Government.
