What assessment the Welsh Government has made of the impact of the scheduled reduction in business rates relief from April 2027 on hospitality businesses?

The Welsh Government is improving non-domestic rates support for eligible hospitality businesses from 1 April 2027, through the permanent rebalancing of the system set out in my oral statement on 15 September. The associated regulations were laid on 6 October, accompanied by a Regulatory Impact Assessment and summary of the Welsh Government’s Integrated Impact Assessment.
