Will the Cabinet Minister support Welsh pubs and live music venues by matching the 20 per cent additional business rates cut announced by the UK Government?

The Welsh Government is improving non-domestic rates support for eligible hospitality businesses from 1 April 2027, through the permanent rebalancing of the system set out in my oral statement on 15 September. The associated regulations were laid on 6 October, accompanied by a Regulatory Impact Assessment and summary of the Welsh Government’s Integrated Impact Assessment.
