Will the Cabinet Minister outline which schools will be taking part in the Welsh Government's recently announced community-focused schools pilots aimed at tackling behavioural issues?
Last month, I announced targeted funding for a series of bespoke pilot projects to explore how restorative approaches can improve behaviour. The pilots will help build the evidence base to ensure that future interventions meet the needs of learners, families and school communities. This approach will also inform the development of a wider national attendance, behaviour and wellbeing framework and wrap around programme to support engagement with schools. This work has begun and as set out in my Written Statement of 27 August I will provide further details on participating local authorities and schools in due course.
