I recognise the national significance of the Rebecca Riots and the work the local community has undertaken over many years to share and celebrate this important aspect of their local heritage and Wales’ national story.
I am considering advice from officials regarding the financial assistance application for the Twm Carnabwth statue. Any decision must be considered in the context of other Culture portfolio priorities and wider government priorities.
