The Chief Medical Officer is providing advice on the evidence currently available on the impact of waiting lists on population health outcomes and health inequalities. This work has no additional cost. The independent review on the performance of the NHS in Wales will build on this existing evidence to assess further the impact of waiting lists on population health and inequalities. This work is subject to procurement processes.
