National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:

1. Recognises the historic role trade unions play in society and the positive outcome of collective bargaining between trade union, employer and the individual employee.

2. Expresses concern that Aldi and Lidl do not recognise a trade union in their workplace.

3. Supports the Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers campaign for trade union recognition.

4. Calls on Aldi and Lidl to meet with the USDAW trade union to commence talks on recognising trade unions in their stores.
