National Assembly for Wales

This Assembly:
1. Congratulates the RAF in its centenary year.
2. Acknowledges the role of Welsh Prime Minister David Lloyd-George in establishing the RAF as the first independent air force globally.
3. Recognises the brave Welsh men and women who served in the RAF; some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their country.
4. Recognises the importance and contribution of the RAF and its personnel to Wales’s security.
5. Welcomes the economic impact of RAF bases to the Welsh economy.
6. Notes this is the 75th Anniversary of the RAF Mountain Rescue Service which has its headquarters at RAF Valley.
