This Assembly:
1. Recognises that 18 – 24 June 2018 marks the first Pulmonary Rehabilitation Week.
2. Recognises the importance of pulmonary rehabilitation as a cost effective intervention to support people living with COPD and other lung conditions. It improves muscle strength; helps patients cope better with breathlessness; supports better mental health.
3. Supports the aspiration of the Welsh Government to increase access to pulmonary rehabilitation through the Respiratory Health Delivery Plan.
4. Calls on the Welsh Government and Health Boards to invest in high quality pulmonary rehabilitation services across Wales.
