This Senedd:
1. Recognises that accelerating an increase of nature-based solutions, natural flood management and appropriate tree cover will help farmers, communities, businesses, and all land managers reduce the risks associated with flooding, drought, and wildfire
2. Believes that:
a) reviewing and simplifying planning and regulatory processes for NFM and NBS will reduce barriers and supports urgent delivery across Wales; and
b) integrating hydrological mapping into the Sustainable Farming Scheme to enhance farm viability, food security, nature recovery, and water quality.
3. Calls on the Welsh Government to make peak water flow mapping available to all land managers and advisors to support targeted NFM interventions.
