National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Notes the efforts of successive governments to tackle fuel poverty and improve household energy efficiency, including through the UK Government’s recent ECO4 and GBIS retrofit schemes.
2. Recognises that some households in Wales have reported urgent concerns about the quality of work carried out under the latter interventions, including safety, damp, mould, ventilation, health, and negative financial impacts.
3. Calls on relevant bodies to publish Welsh-specific data on homes identified, contacted, inspected, remediated and unresolved.
4. Urges the Welsh Government to use its influence to secure immediate action, a named contact route for affected households and full remediation.
