National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Recognises the continued importance of food security, sustainability and resilience in Wales.
2. Notes the principles and proposals set out in the Food (Wales) Bill.
3. Acknowledges the ongoing pressures on households, producers and supply chains.
4. Calls on the Welsh Government to:
a) revisit, adopt and incorporate the Bill’s key measures into future policy and legislation; and
b) adopt a national food strategy that supports local production, public health, and long-term food resilience for communities across Wales.
