National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Acknowledges the utmost importance of protecting the rights and safety of women and girls.
2. Condemns practices facilitating voyeurism, harassment, and sexual assaults in mixed-sex facilities.
3. Recognises the UK Supreme Court’s judgment, confirming the meaning of “sex” "woman" and "man" under the Equality Act 2010.
4. Further recognises the draft EHRC Services Code of Practice guidance on lawful provision of single-sex spaces and services.
5. Expresses support for campaigners, including the Women’s Rights Network, to restore and protect single-sex spaces and services.
6. Urges the Welsh Government to work with the UK Government on promoting and applying the draft Code of Practice.
