This Senedd:
1. Notes that May is Arthritis Awareness Month and recognises that arthritis causes pain, fatigue, disability, and mental and financial strain.
2. Acknowledges that arthritis and musculoskeletal conditions affect nearly one million people in Wales, can strike at any age, including childhood, and impact the ability to work, care for family, and live independently.
3. Recognises the need to develop arthritis services through prevention, early diagnosis, supported self-management, and timely access to multidisciplinary services and treatment.
4. Affirms the need to prioritise reducing long waiting times for orthopaedic surgery.
