National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Condemns the ongoing oppression and violence against the people of Iran by Iranian authorities, including the shutdown of communication channels.
2. Expresses solidarity with those in Wales unable to contact loved ones in the region.
3. Calls on the UK Government to:
a) designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist group, as has been done by our allies the European Union, United States of America, Canada, and Australia;
b) close the Iranian embassy; and
c) investigate the UK property portfolio of Mojtaba Khamenei.
