National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:

1. Wishes the legendary broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough a happy birthday, who turns 99 years-old today (8 May).

2. Recognises the enormous contribution he has made for many decades to Wales and the rest of the UK in highlighting the climate and nature emergencies which face the planet.

3. Notes his latest (and one of his most important yet) film Ocean, which highlights the decline in life in the world's oceans and their importance to the planet’s support system.

4. Calls on the Welsh Government and others to do all they can in tackling the climate and nature emergencies.
