This Senedd:
1. Recognises Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month and the unique needs of young people with cancer.
2. Understands the impact of delayed diagnosis on their physical and mental health and the need for specialist psychological support.
3. Highlights challenges in relationships, work, and education during treatment.
4. Notes barriers to clinical trials, limiting access to innovative treatments.
5. Recognises that around 100 young people in Wales are diagnosed with cancer yearly, requiring specialised care.
6. Calls on the Welsh Government to prioritise cancer care for this group in healthcare planning and support services.
