This Senedd:
1. Notes the ties between Wales and the Iranian people.
2. Acknowledges the Welsh Government’s commitment to Wales being a globally responsible nation, under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
3. Stands in solidarity with the Iranian people.
4. Condemns the human rights abuses committed in Iran.
5. Condemns the indiscriminate execution and imprisonment in Iran, especially of women and ethnic minorities.
6. Commends the human rights work of David Afrash and the Iranian Academics Society in raising awareness of the brutality of the Iranian regime.
7. Calls upon the UK Government to support those facing execution and unjust imprisonment in Iran.
