1. Notes:
a) the urgency for funding to support children and families on long waiting lists for neurodevelopmental assessments;
b) the importance of reducing waiting times;
c) the necessity of providing mental health support for people on waiting lists as delayed diagnoses often lead to limited support, which impacts mental health and wellbeing;
d) that parent-carer specific support should be provided and funded by specialist organisations like AP Cymru - The Neurodiversity Charity; and
e) the importance of school-based training provided by organisations with real lived experience to equip schools to support children before, during and after the diagnostic process.
