National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Notes the enormous progress made by ASH Cymru towards ending the tobacco epidemic in Wales, which still claims 3,845 lives every year.
2. Recognises that in the last year alone ASH Cymru has actioned hundreds of reports of illegal vapes and cigarettes, supported hundreds of referrals to the Help Me Quit service, and surveyed and delivered advice to thousands of schoolchildren in Wales.
3. Believes that protecting children from deadly addiction is essential, and as the only charity solely dedicated to tobacco control in Wales, ASH Cymru should be fully funded to continue their crucial work.
