1. Notes Carers' Rights Day on 21 November.
2. Recognises the vital contribution unpaid carers make to the lives of the people they care for, and our society.
3. Notes that unpaid carers save Wales over £10 billion a year.
4. Notes the findings of the Carers Wales ‘Track the Act’ report published on 14 November 2024, which demonstrates a significant gap between unpaid carers’ rights under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and the reality in their daily lives.
5. Calls on elected representatives to take urgent action to ensure effective and consistent implementation of the legislation.
