National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Welcomes and supports the judicial review process being undertaken by Unite the Union against the UK Government.
2. Notes that Unite the Union has accused the UK Government of acting unlawfully with its decision to change eligibility for winter fuel payments by failing to undertake a full assessment of the policy's impact.
3. Regrets that approximately 10 million pensioners in Wales and England who are not on pension credit or other means-tested benefits will no longer receive annual winter fuel payments.
4. Calls on the UK Government to reverse its decision to reduce eligibility for winter fuel payments.
