This Senedd:
1. Notes that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and recognises the unique impact cancer has on around 180 children and young people (under 25) diagnosed each year in Wales.
2. Recognises their distinct needs, including specialist treatment and care, significant travel to treatment centres, and mental health impacts.
3. Acknowledges that cancer is the leading cause of disease-related death in this age group.
4. Recognises the vital role of charities in providing essential support to children, young people, and families.
5. Calls on the Welsh Government to recognise and address their unique needs to improve outcomes and experiences.
