This Senedd:
1. Notes the importance of agriculture to Wales, economically and culturally.
2. Notes the long history of sheep farming in Wales.
3. Notes the importance of good shearing for animal health and wellbeing.
4. Recognises the hard work of the organisers of Cneifio Corwen Shears, Cneifio Cothi Shears, the Royal Welsh Show, and all other shearing competitions in Wales.
5. Recognises the skill of the shearers and woolhandlers.
6. Congratulates the Cymru/Wales Shearing team on their 2-1 series win over Aotearoa/New Zealand.
