National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the work RenewableUK Cymru is doing to bring together representatives of the renewable energy sector in Wales.
2. Recognises that industry and Welsh Government must work together for Wales to achieve net zero.
3. Notes that to achieve this, further action and progress are required in key areas such as:
a) planning and consenting;
b) grid infrastructure; and
c) ports and supply chains
4. Calls on the Welsh Government to form an independent task and finish group, including industry representatives, to provide the evidence base to support the acceleration of renewable energy projects and secure a clean energy future for Wales.
