This Senedd:
1. Recognises the important role primary steel making plays in the Welsh and UK economies.
2. Regrets that the current proposals from Tata will end primary steel making in Wales by the end of 2024.
3. Does not believe that the current proposals from Tata demonstrate a just and fair transition to a decarbonised steel industry.
4. Calls upon Tata to withdraw its decision to end primary steel making in Wales this year and to work with the UK and Welsh governments alongside the trade unions to deliver a decarbonised steel industry which maintains a primary steel making capability in Wales.
