This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the efforts of retailers in helping consumers live more sustainable lives despite the cost-of-living challenge.
2. Notes the Welsh Retail Consortium’s Climate Action Roadmap Showcase which highlighted the best sustainability initiatives in retail.
3. Congratulates the 30 companies who entered the awards and the best-in-class award winners including Ocado’s digital deposit scheme; Screwfix, who rolled out HGVs run on hydrotreated vegetable oil cutting 2,000 tonnes of CO2e; Currys, who have made 1.3m repairs to old technology last year and John Lewis who are using digital twin technology to roll-out heat pumps to 350 stores.
