OPIN-2023-0369 Hamas Attacks on Israel (e) Tabled on 10/10/2023

This Senedd:

1. Condemns the attacks, violence and acts of terror perpetrated by Hamas against Israel in recent days.

2. Calls for an end to the targeting, killing and kidnapping of innocent civilians.

3. Regrets the loss of innocent lives and casualties in Israel and Gaza.

4. Extends the deepest sympathy of people across Wales to those who have lost loved ones.

5. Recognises the right of the State of Israel to defend itself and its citizens.

6. Urges political leaders in Israel and Palestine to urgently work to bring an end to the conflict and engage with the international community to negotiate a lasting peace settlement.
