National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Notes:
a) that 7 September was International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies; and
b) the introduction of the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Bill in the Senedd.
2. Calls on the Welsh Government to:
a) ensure that the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) (Wales) Bill sets air quality targets for all pollutants covered by the World Health Organisation's Air Quality Guidelines by the end of 2026;
b) urgently publish proposals to tackle domestic burning and its negative impacts; and
c) introduce targeted information campaigns on the health and environmental impacts of air pollution.
