National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the opportunity to celebrate Clean Air Day on 15 June 2023.
2. Notes that almost 2,000 people die early every year in Wales due to air pollution.
3. Notes the work of Healthy Air Cymru and the Cross-Party Group on a Clean Air Act to raise awareness of the dangers of air pollution.
4. Welcomes the Environment (Air Quality and Soundscapes) Bill and the commitment to give everyone the right to breathe clean air.
5. Calls upon all parties to work together to strengthen the Bill so that new air quality limits follow WHO air quality guidelines.
