OPIN-2023-0332 Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week (e) Tabled on 09/02/2023

This Senedd:

1. Recognises Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week, 6 – 12 February, which aims to raise awareness of sexual abuse and violence and the support services available to survivors.

2. Notes that during the awareness week, hundreds of events take place, both online and in person, all over the UK to raise awareness of sexual abuse and violence.

3. Notes that the awareness week allows organisations, charities, schools, businesses, community groups and individuals to promote healthy discussions with regards to sexual abuse and sexual violence and shine a spotlight on what is normally a very hidden subject.
