OPIN-2023-0330 Support for the people of Armenia (e) Tabled on 31/01/2023

This Senedd:
1. Recognises the longstanding historical ties between Wales and Armenia.
2. Condemns the war of terror being waged on the Armenian people in Nagorno Karabakh.
3. Calls on the UK Government to provide aid to avert a humanitarian crisis facing 120,000 Armenian people as a result of the blockade of the Lachin corridor.
4. Remembers the horrors of the Armenian genocide of 1915-23 and recognises the threat of another genocide occurring in 2023.
