This Senedd:
1. Welcomes the opportunity to highlight chronic obstructive pulmonary disease through World COPD Day on 16 November 2022.
2. Notes that over 74,000 people in Wales have been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
3. Welcomes the publication of a new report by Asthma + Lung UK Cymru that shows the majority of people with COPD are not receiving the basic levels of care they should expect, including the five fundamentals of COPD care.
4. Calls upon the Welsh Government to publish a new Respiratory Quality Statement to improve care and support for people living with COPD.
