National Assembly for Wales

This Senedd:
1. Recognises the invaluable service provided by the Wales Air Ambulance.
2. Notes with concern proposals to centralise the north and mid Wales service at a single site with the potential closure of the bases in Caernarfon and Welshpool.
3. Acknowledges two public petitions calling for the retention of the bases at Caernarfon and Welshpool.
4. Expresses deep concern about how this proposal will strengthen safe emergency medical cover in north and mid Wales's most rural, hard-to-reach areas.
5. Calls on the Government to commission an independent analysis of the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service data being used to underpin these proposals.
