1. Notes that World Parkinson’s Day takes place on 11 April 2022 to raise awareness and encourage people to talk about Parkinson’s.
2. Recognises that Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world and that, in Wales, around 7,600 people are already living with Parkinson’s, with this number set to increase by around a fifth by 2030.
3. Recognises that there is more to do in Wales to ensure that people living with Parkinson’s, their families and unpaid carers are able to access the support they need, when they need it, wherever they live in Wales.
