This Senedd:

1. Notes that Wrexham is the only Welsh entry on the UK City of Culture longlist of eight for 2025.

2. Recognises the potential for culture in its widest sense to assist economic regeneration and cultural cohesion, noting that previous successful bidders such as Hull have seen investment of £200 million and created 800 jobs.

3. Supports Wrexham's bid and advocates the use of the #Wrecsam2025 hashtag in expressing that support.
